Well, after much organising and a few sleepless nights, the 2015, inaugural, Jim’s Fencing Franchisee conference was an outstanding success. We had plenty of Sponsor support, and while Franchisee numbers were a little down on what we had initially envisioned, we are totally ecstatic with the outcome. We had delicious sponsored meals, a good chance to meet and socialise in a casual atmosphere with other Franchisees, Trainers, Suppliers and Franchisors. While we spent plenty of time “in Conference” the topics and subjects we covered were well important to the future of the group and very well received. It is heartening to see the enthusiasm that everyone showed in helping us to build the professionalism, of the Jim’s Fencing brand. Without a doubt, the highlight had to be Steve Bradbury. We and our girls sat at the front, spellbound. The dedication, the efforts, the trials and tribulations, the setbacks, and ultimately to come out on top. Congratulations to James and Aidone for their efforts in ‘being the last man standing’.  I have now finished Steve’s own book, ‘The last man standing’, and now my daughters are reading it –how’s that for inspirational? The Noosa weather was awesome, the location was great for the families, I know our kids had a ball, and didn’t really want to come back home to school. Next year, we anticipate a gathering of over 100 Jim’s Fencing people to share ideas and stories. We are already looking forward to it. Thanks so much to all those who attended, everyone that had input, and I hope that like me, you took that little piece of Gold to take home to your business. Darren & Catherine
